"On board of L.H. Boeing 707, flight Nr. 518. although it seems a little unreal, Sr. Silvia Büchel and myself are on the way to Colombia, flying at an altitude of 11300 above sea level of the Atlantic Ocean. …..Under us a sea of grey clouds. May we be able, with the help of the prayers and the interest of the sisters, our families and friends, which we really experience these days, to pierce the clouds of poverty, frustration and hopelessness under which the people of “El Buen Pastor” are living in Bogotá.."
